About Pompano Beach Offshore Anglers

The Pompano Beach Offshore Anglers Fishing Club was created in 2004 by a group of local fishermen wanting to get together to swap fish tales, have a few cold ones and learn more about the local fishing scene. We aren't into big money tournament fishing and all of our events are set up to be low cost, family friendly and lots of fun.

We have grown to more than 80 active members and we have attracted many of the great local captains and fishing gurus to come and speak at our meetings. Past speakers have included George Poveromo, Captain Mike Genoun from Florida Sportfishing Magazine, and Captain Dean Panos to name a few.

We have also covered topics such as outboard maintenance, how to throw a cast net, rigging ballyhoo, kite fishing, deep dropping, fishing the reef, tackle selection, and trolling the blue water.

We welcome all anglers and seek to be a no stress, enjoyable and educational experience.

Club dues are only $25/year and include all of the meetings, a club T-Shirt, and access to all of the club raffles and tournaments.
