Founded in 2004 for the Anglers of Pompano Beach Florida, the PBOA is open to all anglers and seeks to promote the camaraderie and education of its members as well as preservation of the natural marine resources of South Florida
The club meets monthly and past guest speakers have included local charter captains, tackle manufactures, marine mechanics, magazine and TV personalities and many other professionals associated with the marine and fishing industry.
The club also sponsors monthly raffles and two fishing tournaments each year.

Hello Members,
Well, I hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday season. I haven't updated this site since our last meeting and I apologize to you all for that. We will be starting the new year with our first meeting on Jan. 18th at the usual time at Galuppi's. We will not have a guest speaker for this meeting, but we will be going over the by-laws of the club and taking new memberships as well as renewals. Read more

New Greeting for“Hi John, I fished last sunday, 12/20 with my buddy Glenn & we caught 3 nice kings 8-20 lbs(32-36") in 60-80 ft using livies. Used live bait on a kite for one fish but hooke the bigger one on a flat line as I was letting it out.
